So I'm thinking of doing a series of posts about my Nail of the Week every week. So, I will basically just make a post about the nail polish I'm wearing every week, and just my thoughts on the polish. Let me know in a comment if you think this might be a good idea!
Anyway, I'm going to start this little series off with this nail polish that I have been wearing for the past few days. It is from the Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle Nail Colour line, and the shade is called Honor.
I would describe this colour as a beautiful bronzy metallic champagne colour. It reminds more more of the holidays than it does spring, but the main reason I would pull out this polish at this time of year is to grow my nails. A little while ago, I got really nervous for a musical solo I was about to perform in front of the whole school and their parents. I had been growing my nails since last September and, unfortunately, my nerves got the better of me and I bit off all of my nails! So, in order to get a head start on getting them back, I decided to use this polish as I have used it before and can say that it gives results. My nails will be visibly longer in just a few weeks, rather than the few months it would take without this polish.
Would you wear this nail polish for the spring?

MAC Lipstick: Plink!
This is my only neutral MAC lipstick I own. I only own two MAC lipsticks altogether, so its not much of a shock that this is my only neutral one. It is actually my favorite neutral lipstick I have. I think everybody knows what the packaging of MAC lipsticks look like, so I won't include a picture of that.
Here is the picture of the actual lipstick:
I would describe the colour as a soft neutral pink colour. It is not light pink, but it is also not a true nude. It is somewhere in between the two. It has a very slight shimmer to it, and I think it looks really pretty alone or with lipgloss. My favorite lip gloss to wear over it are either my Smashbox Lip Gloss in POP.
Here is a swatch of the colour:
As you can see, the colour is very pigmented. It has almost a metallic sheen to it. I think this lipstick is a great every day colour, and it would compliment more dramatic eyes that need a lip that isn't overwhelming. The thing I find different about this lipstick than most other MAC lipsticks is that I find it is very moisturizing. Most MAC lipsticks tend to really dry my lips out, but this one doesn't.
Overall, I find that this would be a great addition to every makeup collection. I think it is very pigmented, but still very wearable. It is my go-to everyday lip. I will definitely repurchase this product when I finish it.

The Body Shop Body Butter: Strawberry!
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the SMELL of this product? The Strawberry Body Butter from The Body Shop is just HEAVENLY in the way it smells. It really does make you smell like a strawberry shortcake in a REALLY good way, as Ingrid or missglamorazzi on YouTube put it.
This is what the container looks like:
I really like the packaging of this product. I like how they don't actually write the name of the fruit on the container and just put a picture of it instead. I also like how the plastic has a matte finish, so you can't tell if there are any fingerprints on it like you would be able to if it was glossy.
This is what the product looks like in the container:
As you can see, there is a pretty large dent in the product as I have used up quite a bit of it. Aside from the amazing smell, this product is really nice and creamy. It's not amazingly creamy, like other body butters, but it is still creamy enough to get the job done. It is also very moisturizing and it doesn't leave an oily film on top of your skin like other moisturizers sometimes do.
This is what the product looks like in my hand:
As I said before, the product is not super creamy, but it is creamy enough that it comes out of the container without much hassle and it smooth enough to get the job done.
Overall, I will definitely repurchase this product once I run out, and I will be sure to check out some of the other body butters from The Body Shop while I'm at it. This is honestly one of my favorite moisturizers, and I find that it works even better right after I wash and exfoliate my body with the Strawberry Body Gel from The Body Shop as well.

Revlon Lip Butter: Berry Smoothie
Its a bit sad to say, but this is actually the first Revlon Lip Butter that I've ever owned. I know, I'm a bit late, but I'd just like to say that these are AMAZING. I'd heard everyone rave about these for a while and kept meaning to get one, and now that I've finally gotten around to it, I can see why everyone loves them.
This is what it looks like on the outside:
I really like the packaging. I like how every lid is specifically matched to the colour inside. It makes it a lot easier to find shades that you are looking for.
This is what it looks like on the inside:
This particular colour is really beautiful. It is a medium berry colour, with a slight shimmer to it. I really like the lip butters because you don't need to add lip gloss after applying them; they look shiny all on their own. These products are really pigmented, but I still find them really easy to wear. Also, you don't have to be too careful putting them on as they do not smudge very easily, and when they do, they are hardly noticeable and are very easy to clean up.
Swatch:
As you can see, the colour that comes out is pretty much the same as what it looks like in the tube. I really like how true to it's colour this particular shade is, and from what I've heard, generally, the other shades are the same way.
Overall, I would definitely repurchase this product. They are very pigmented, true to their colour, and they are easy to wear and apply. I will be looking to find other colours as soon as I can. Thanks for reading!
